On arrival in London he had formed The Laughing Apple with pal and on-off musical partner Andrew Innes and they recorded a trio of singles in 19 before splitting up. So let us not go over that old ground yet again, but instead skip back a decade or so to the early 80s, when the label just making the journey from being of an idea in his head into a reality.
